ORANGE, Calif., July 24, 2019 // — Plethora Businesses, a leader in California’s Mergers & Acquisitions scene, in celebration of its 20th year in business, is announcing the launch of a Creative Marketing contest for students attending Orange County’s universities.
While oriented towards students in Business and Marketing majors, the contest is open to any undergraduate or graduate who holds a junior-level standing or higher. Plethora is headquartered in Orange and hopes to see entries from nearby campuses such as Chapman University, Cal State Fullerton, Vanguard University and Concordia University Irvine.
Per contest guidelines, students are asked to create an electronic slide deck showcasing Plethora’s service offerings. Participants are encouraged to include a balanced mix of text and visuals, with an emphasis towards video elements such as mock client testimonials. Students are recommended to work in teams. A panel of judges–consisting of key Plethora executives and industry-savvy college professors–will determine the winning submissions.
The entries that win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for their quality content will each receive trophies and monetary prices. 1st place winners may also be hired by Plethora to improve their deck and add real testimonials from actual past clients. The contest provides students an opportunity to dive into the fields of business and finance and the potential to gain highly sought-after experience in the M&A sector.
Key Dates & Deadlines:
Tuesday, September 13th – Last day to submit Application for participation
Thursday, September 19th – Kickoff Reception for all accepted Applicants
Thursday, October 31st – Last day for teams to submit their finished work
